 | Billet Aluminium Dipstick HandlesOriginally made as an experiment in programming Phoenix's new CNC machine, the Aluminium Dipstick Handles are a new product not available anywhere else as far as we know. Designed as a direct replacement for the stock plastic handled dipsicks which have a tendency to break. Currently machined from a single billet of aircraft grade aluminium, these handles are indestructable and come with new sealing o-rings, installation instructions and (optional) M-Tech logo.  | Rear Shock Tower Reinforcing PlatesThese small reinforcing plates, manufactured from cold rolled steel sheet, laser cut then powdercoated are an essential addition to all E31 vehicles. The bodyshell (skin) of the car is so thin at the mounting point of the upper mount of the rear shock absorber that it is a common and very expensive failure point when the shell splits requiring a significant strip and welding repair to be made. These simple plates reinforce the shell at this point, spreading the load evenly over a greater area, eliminating this risk. Price: $75 |

 | Stainless Steel Fuel HosesAircraft quality Stainlless steel braided fuel filter hoses. These braided stainless steel fuel hose kits address, once and for all, the problem of those low hanging rubber fuel hoses under the floor of the E31. Now, may cars are approaching 20 years old and these hoses commonly leak due to age and road debris damage but the braided hoses with a choice of coloured end clamps are super tough and come in ready to fit kits of 4 hoses for the 850 and two hoses for the 840.  | Billet Aluminium Oil Filler CapsThese Billet Oil Caps were designed initially for two functional reasons. First, the small square plastic oil cap could be very tight and the larger diameter billet cap made it much easier to remove and the (original) polished cap also made it more difficult to forget to put it back on once again. The caps are now available in a range of anodised colours and finishes and have become more of a appearance item. Retained with two stainless setscrews, the original seals from the stock oil cap are retained. The cap is a direct fit on the V12 but requires clearancing of the underhood pad on the V8. | Stainless Steel Brake LinesAll Phoenix Motorsport brakeline kits are manufactured with Teflon lined, nylon coated, stainless steel braided hose. The nylon coating eliminates road dirt from penetrating the braides of the stainless steel which causes chafing and grinding within the briads during hose movement. This coating is available in a wide range of colours. All kits come with stainless steel hose end fittings, not cadmium plated steel fittings which greatly increases the cost but also the longevity of our kits and completely eliminates any corrosion problems later should the fittings require disconnection and stops internal rusting of the fittings contaminating the brake fluid. Another feature unavailable elsewhere is the conical guide where the hose enters the fitting, vastly reducing the stress and load concentration at this vital point. Hoses are slightly longer than stock to ease stress on full lock. Some manufacturers have been very tight on tolerance and fitting of aftermarket suspension, etc stretches this tolerance beyond its safe limit. Every kit we supply comes with full TUV approval and certificate, the highest standard achievable for a road vehicle component in Europe. Is your life worth a little extra expense? Price: $165 |
 | Poly BushesPolyurethane has been with us as a specialized plastic for some 30 years. Recent advances have now made it possible to engineer very special properties into this exciting material. Suspension bushes are some of the most highly stressed components fitted to a car. They undergo enormous strains in the most arduous of conditions with no maintenance or lubrication. Phoenix Motorsport bushes improve your cars roadhandling and chassis performance by controlling the amount of unwanted flex in the suspension. This means your suspension is doing what it was designed to do. Your tires have greater contact with the road at all times improving safety and performance. With the technological advances in this material, it has been possible to overcome the common problem associated with harder bushes - increased noise. By correctly engineering the polyurethane compound, bushes can be made 25-30% stiffer than rubber items but with exactly the same noise absorbing properties.Phoenix Motorsport has teamed with the most respected manufacturer of polyurethane suspension bushes, PowerFlex, to manufacture and supply bushes for the BMW E31 8 Series, a previously uncatered to vehicle due to its limited porduction numbers. With the expertise of PowerFlex and Phoenix Motorsorts combined, the first exciting products are new sway bar mountings made exclusivelky in 24mm and 27mm for the front and 13mm, 15.5mm and 17mm kits for the rear.  | Anodised Door lock PinsAnother fun and custom part, are these machined aluminium door pins. Available in the full range of 12 anodised colours, plus polished or "as machined", they can enhance a colour scheme for the interior of the car as well as a marginal improvement in security, they are impossible to pull up when the car is locked.  | Hubcentric RingsThese rings are an absolute must if you fit wheels from later BMW's to the E31. The bore size of the wheel is 1.4mm too large for the E31 hub causing the wheel to sit eccentrically on the car inducing wheel shake. Up until now, the hubcentric rings available have been flimsy plastic or lightweight aluminium rings which are not up to standard and damage easily. Our rings are manufactured from a billet of HE30/6082T6 tempered aircraft aluminium to an accuracy of .002", then anodised in a range of "loud" colours so that anyone changing a wheel or tire later cannot miss the coloured ring installed on the vehicle.
